There are three ways you can become involved with helping Memory Matters carry out our mission of providing education and support for individuals with memory problems, their caregivers, family and friends.
Become a Member
To become a Friend of Memory Matters, there are three levels of friendship for you to consider:
At the Friend Level you will receive a card showing your support and you will also be recognized on our website. In addition, you will be invited to special recognition events and receive our newsletter. Being a Friend helps enable Memory Matters to provide support groups to caregivers or a Memory Screening, all free of charge.
As a Patron you will receive all of the benefits of the Friend Level. You will also receive special gift items with the Memory Matters logo to show your support of our organization. Being a Patron enables Memory matters to provide things like a Social Activity like Coloring and Puzzles which help with memory focus and socialization or an educational seminar to help caregivers learn to care for themselves.
At the Sponsor Level you will receive all of the benefits of the Friend and Patron Levels, plus your name will be engraved on a permanent plaque that will be proudly displayed at Memory Matters House. Being a sponsor enables Memory Matters to provide an enrichment Party for individuals with memory impairment, their family and friends. These parties provide socialization and a break from the isolation that so often accompanies memory impairment. This level also enables us to provide a Virtual Dementia Experience. This experience allows personal and professional caregivers and family members a look at what an individual with memory impairment deals with everyday. This is not only enlightening but helps foster empathy and understanding. Again, provided free of charge.

Make a Donation
A donation of any amount is always appreciated and will help Memory Matters to achieve our goals of supporting those in our community who are facing memory problems. All the services provided at Memory Matters are free of charge and directly benefit local needs.
Memorial Gifts are a meaningful way to remember someone who is no longer with us. A card of acknowledgement will be sent to the individual of your choosing.
All donations are tax deductible.
How are Your Donations Used?
Educating Our Community: Memory Matters provides education to families, church groups, civic organizations, social service agencies, schools, long-term care staff, and anyone else requesting our assistance.
Building Local Support Systems: Caring for a loved one with dementia impacts the entire family. Social activities at Memory Matters House and other venues keep individuals with dementia and their caregivers active and engaged. Support groups throughout Glynn County provide opportunities to meet others facing similar challenges.
Helping Those on a Limited Budget: Our Special Needs Program helps with urgent needs such as short-term respite, MedicAlert bracelets, adult diapers, and other assistance as needed.
